A new charging station via your ERE compensation
In partnership with Easee and
Together with installation partners, Zeres is developing a program to provide customers whose charging station lacks a built-in MID meter with a new charging station that has an integrated MID meter. The charging station costs EUR 795. This amount is settled against your ERE compensation, so you have no one-time purchase costs and repay the charging station in instalments (per quarter).
How does it work?
- You order a new charging station with a built-in MID meter from us. We supply the Easee Charge Max.
- For business customers a maximum of three charging stations applies (Easee Charge Max). For more than three, we supply the Easee Pro model.
- Already have a charging station? Then the existing cabling is in place. You can install the new charging station yourself, or indicate when ordering that one of our partner installers in your region installs it.
- The installation cost for replacing an existing charging station is EUR 350. For an entirely new installation (cabling including charging station), you agree the rate with the installer.
- We currently have 500 charging stations in stock, so be quick.
Ordering a charging station
You order the charging station directly online: click the Order a charging station button, fill in your details, choose your options and sign the agreement digitally. You will receive the signed agreement by e-mail right away, after which we contact you about delivery.
The charging station is supplied without a charging cable and without an Equalizer. In the order flow you can add a 7.5 metre charging cable (EUR 249 including shipping) and the Easee Equalizer for load balancing (EUR 149 including shipping). Payment and delivery of these options are confirmed separately.

Why MID?
What is a MID meter?
The NEa (Dutch Emissions Authority) requires that for registering electricity as EREs the charger is equipped with a MID-certified kWh meter. This meter must be inside the charger itself to measure consumption accurately.
Recognizable by a marking with European flag and text like MID/2026/AB or the short version M24.
A MID meter separately mounted in the utility cabinet does not meet the NEa requirements. More in the FAQ.
Step-by-step
Register your charger in five steps
Sign up
Private users sign up via the sign-up button; businesses and HOAs request a quote. You receive an email confirmation right away.
Register your charger
Provide your charger ID and EAN. We register your charge point(s) with the NEa and arrange the mandate.
Connect your charge data
We read your charger automatically via OCPP or API. If that is not possible, you submit your kWh each quarter yourself via the portal, WhatsApp, app or email.
We book and trade
We convert your charged green electricity into ERE's and trade them on the emissions market.
Receive your quarterly payout
Each quarter we pay out your net proceeds, with a clear report.
